IND | Fall Line Motorsports F8X M3/M4 Front Mono Ball Conversion Kit

The factory rubber bushing found in the original thrust arm of the F8X M3/M4 is very large, and prone to substantial deflection under load, as the vehicle is put through its paces. Deflection of the bushing can create unwanted geometry change, steering wobble under braking, and even hysteresis of the thrust arm.

The Fall Line Motorsports F8X M3/M4 Mono Ball Conversion Kit replaces the large rubber bushing found in the original thrust arm with a top quality spherical bearing made in the United States by Aurora. The bearing’s housing is precision machined from aluminum, to create a rigid part that allows for the M4’s thrust arm to move smoothly through its range of suspension travel. The improvement in steering and suspension feel is immediate and truly enhances the personality of the M4.

Fall Line Motorsports F8X M3/M4 Front Mono Ball Conversion Kit: $423.00

Please contact IND by phone or email for more information or to place your order.

Aftermarket parts sure came out quick for the F80 platform, but this really needs a sealed dust boot (i.e. similar to what Dinan and Bimmerworld has for the e9X platform) for it to survive on a street car.

Sealed dust boots are available for street cars- the race version is shown here, but clients can opt to order the parts with sealed dust boots.

You can see the sealed boots on the Fall Line "econo" toe adjustment arms, here:

Has anyone added this to stock setup. Only suspension mod I have done is eibach springs but want to improve steering feel without adding NVH.

Will this help and does it increase NVH?

The monoball and rear upper control arm bearings will increase NVH. It's not terribly harsh and the occasional 'clicking' doesn't bother me much if and when I notice it, but do keep in mind everyone has differing tolerances to these things.

Do you really feel the difference in a daily driver or do you really need to be pushing it and taking corners hard before the effects of these upgrades are felt? Are you able to describe the benefits in greater detail for those on the fence?
