Tampa dealer / SA for break in
I am going to be travelling down to Tampa next week and I am going to be right around 1200 miles when I get down there. Can anyone suggest a dealer and SA who can treat me and my car right for the break in service?

Can't recommend an SA. But you should check out Reeves Import Motorcars, BMW of Tampa. They have almost a whole block of Reeves Premium Dealerships(BMW, Porsche, Audi, etc). They also have an aftermarket shop on site. Seem like a legit group of enthusiasts.

I give a thumbs down on Reeves. My friend just had his new car serviced there last week and they gave him a Hyundai as a loaner and didnt reset his oil/service indicators. Then made him come back so they could do that and he waited an hour. Reeves has notoriously bad customer service. I would suggest Fields BMW although it's a bit outside of Tamoa or Ferman BMW Palm Harbour. A little west of Tampa but excellent customer service.

Oh ok yeah Bert Smith is pretty good. I bought an E46 from them years ago and was always pleased with their service. I believe since then they've built a new sales and service center as well.

Awesome thanks. I see they have a 4.9/5 on Google reviews for their service department. Over 350 reviews. Gonna call them this morning and see how competent they sound about the M as I try to setup the service.

I used to drive down to the Lakeland Fields dealership. Tina is the SA I use. She isn't super knowledgable, but she understands OCD. The great thing about Lakeland is that it's super small. The have like 4 SA and 5 or so techs.

As someone above said, you will have hit or miss with any of our local dealers. I have had great experiences with Reeves, while Fields in Lakeland pretty much screwed us on our last service (missed a bunch of $$$ stuff that should have been caught) before our previous e90 went out of warranty. If you are just having a 1200 service, I would call ahead and discuss exactly what you want done and go from there.
