What's your plans for it? I've been looking at these for a while but yet to take the plunge!

I'm going to wrap it in carbon vinyl and if that looks dodgy I will either have it sprayed or hydrodipped

I would probably just paint it black. I have the BMW Performance one that's carbon fibre, only bought it by the way as it was very cheap & these copy versions were not available at the time. Anyway you can't really notice the carbon fibre unless you are practically stood on it hence painting it black wound be my choice unless you are a real carbon whore!

What's the quality like of the BMW Performance one? Any issues with speed bumps?

I've got the Carbon performance mirror caps and would really like the BMW one to match, but I don't want to pay £400 for something which is just going to get battered!

Far as I know they don't make one for the pre lci car , no idea on the quality compared to a genuine bmw part but I assume it's a lesser quality , it's ok for me though

It's good quality, my car is lowered around half an inch on the front with Eibach's. If you are careful over speed bumps it shouldn't be a problem. I was lucky & only paid £200 new on ebay on a one off auction from BMW Warrington, to be honest pal it's not worth any more so would just go with the rep. I only bought it to sell on & make some money as my car is a pre LCI & the genuine ones are only for LCI, it does fit though using a packer at each end so fitted it instead.

Looks fantastic wolly, my car is silver and has the black grills so I'm hoping it'll look decent tomorrow once fitted ,I have just smeared resin under the spoiler to seal the carbon wrap

Nice! Yes, mine too
My favourite are Nepenthes, they stay nice during the winter too.

Love the splitter btw, it's nice and subtle. So many are too much in my opinion but this one is just right. Would love to see a pic of it fitted with the whole car
