opinions: oil in engine bay. Looks bad...

Just popped the hood to jump another car and noticed a lot of oil on the right side of the engine. Starting to take things out to see if I can find a leak.

Anybody have any thoughts?

I will post pics in a minute as u have to resize them.

Could also just be the oil filter cap o-ring gasket (based on seeing it puddled up next to the filter cap). Easiest to check and fix first.

Thanks for the replies guys!

Modtoy I hope your right and I think you may be. Cleaned up what I could reach today. Removed the filter to inspect the o ring, it appeared fine but when I reinstalled it and started it leaked. Replaced it and put new oil in and ran it for a bit. So far so good I will wash the bay and run it a bit more tomorrow to make certain.
