KW V3 Coilovers M4
I wanted to buy these for my car. How is KW? I had h&R coils on my 335. How do they match up against h&r? A lot better right. I won't be really tracking the car at all just wanna lower the car on some nice coils. I wanted to get some opinions before I bought them. Thanks

The V3's are amazing!! Love how it drives even thought I'm dumped!! Only 1.5 inches off the floor and still feels like I'm on stock suspension. Idk how H&R feels cause I've never gone the spring route.

K3 performs the best and it's lifetime warranty, unless you only care for the looks then go the H&R route. If you have adaptive M suspension, then you'll need the KW delete module.

I never had springs, maybe on a honda back in the day. Springs are way to ghetto for a bmw. I had H&R coil overs complete kit I meant on the E92. Def gonna go with KW this time around. Thanks

I agree completely. I was assuming most ppl doing springs right now on the F82 were doing only springs. I've lowered every car I've ever owned, the reason I prefer coil overs is of course for the adjustability. Sometimes I just wanna be able to tuck my rims for a couple months

I've had the KW V3s on other cars and love them. A pain to set up correctly though.

KW V3s are excellent on the f8x. Setup was a breeze and performance absolutely exceeds stock EDC.

Whats gonna be the best setup for my rebound and compression for just regular driving and hitting the mountains on the weekends? Id prefer probably a bit more sporty, Ive had tons of lowered cars but never any where I can adjust those parameters. I thought about just taking it to a shop to get professionally balanced. I'd rather do it myself if possible. Thanks

Agree with Edwin. I haven't touched the oob recommended KW settings since install. Very impressed.
I'm going to the track for first time with the car this weekend, so may have a change of opinion at that point. |
