(OP posted pic)thats the bmw M4 concept car with the concept performance lip. The first pic is a photoshop changing the color and the rims.I believe that was taken at the BMW villa at Pebble Beach event and if so I was actually at that very location where that pic was taken with the car

You're right, it was at the Pebble Beach launch event, and the image has been photochopped as you described.

By "concept" performance lip, I assume it has been replaced with the M Performance splitter and lip that we all know about, and that concept lip never made it into production...

That's a very big shame, as that simple lip is EXACTLY what I'm after for my MW M4

The concept lip and the actual BMW Perf lip look pretty much identical to me from what I can remember the concept looking like when I saw it. So it would be safe to say if you want that look you will get it by going with BMW Perf lip.

I did not play that day I wish! But David and I were up there for the car event at Pebble and was invited to attend the villa to see the car. We also went to a CCA event at the Monterey Airport to view the car in a hanger which was awesome as well!

Still have not played Pebble!! I had so many chances but just never worked out but it will!! SOON

From the photos I've seen (and I might be wrong), the replacement M Performance splitters swoop down lower than the standard splitters, forcing the M Performance front splitter to sit lower again...

I'd just prefer a straight lip addition without changing the splitters.

I agree, if I painted the M Performance CFRP splitters body colour and leave the lip black, it would probably look very similar to those photos... I guess that's what I'll end up doing.

My advise would be to wait Im sure many companies will start making them without the splitters, rather than paying extra for the cf splitters and painting it.
