Clear wrap

I'm doing the matte wrap this week. With some little accents. The black will stay high gloss.

I did a clear wrap of the front half. The installer (one of the best in VA) did an amazing job considering he didn't have a pattern and had to do it custom. He hid all the edges and no one can tell it's there. It took two days just to do the front half, with all the intersecting surfaces and edges. I think he regrets not quoting me more. Depending on how the weather goes I might wait until spring to do the back half.

Looks interesting, especially with the accent cut lines. Please share some overall pix, when done. I might consider a metallic orange type wrap, similar to the concept pictures on the internet before the i8's were released. Would need to be a color befitting of the car.

did you do xpel? also, with matte, can you wash it normally or do you have to use special soap etc?

Do you still love the matte? were they able to not have any lines at the quarter panel or around the charging port. My guy locally says with satin I might notice it.

I'm also powdercoating my rims black..

I love those red accents! Were they applied onto the matte wrap?They kinda look slightly elevated compared to the wrap on the mirror for example. I may need the name of your detailer!!

The red accents were applied on top of the matte, so it could be removed if I get tired of it.
