Anyone priced out a package from dealer or a good aftermarket shop (ie Tunerworks)?

Tuner was just as expensive as dealer for my 2. And tuner weren't RFT...

This was for BBS SR's versus y spoke 180's both 17".

Quote is free from BMW so you might as well ask. I thought that considering our winters the RFT's would be a nice option...

Are the continentals for the F80 RFT? (I don't think I had seen that....)

Anyway, I am so-so on the RFTs. Enough dry or non-snow or warm days here that the performance problems with RFTs might be a drag. (in fairness, they did slightly save my bacon during a (rare) winter road trip in the 328 last winter, but if I were doing that in a car without RFTs I'd have the foam kit that the F80 comes with anyway....))

And, yeah, I have the quote from my dealer. The problem is that it is not the quote they are supposed to give me (specifically negotiated in the contract that I would be given a discount, all they are now offering is the same MSRP that everyone else in this country pays....honestly, BMW should not let the same guy own both dealerships in the same city....zero competition makes them very lazy)

I've done well with Tunerworks on past cars (both BMW and MB) and am happy to give them the business. Even if it costs about the same as OEM, I find them much more customer-oriented than the Dilwari dealerships.

Edit: Yeah, from what I see in other postings the OEM rubber is the Conti WinterContact TS 830P, which is not (from what I see) an RFT tire.....

I ordered a set of Apex Arc8 in 19x9.5" (online), and got some Nokian Hakkapeliitta 8's studded at Kal-tire (local). Together I spent about $3300 on the setup.
