Fastest Street Legal tires in the US?

Does anyone know what the fastest street legal tires you could put on the E92M are? How many miles will they last (I guess it will be a low number since they compound will be super soft???) Would it be a better idea to get dedicated track tires? I am not keen on having to deal with the changing of tires all the time. (I plan on tracking the car at least twice a month except during the winter)

Michelin cup tires are pretty sticky and have decent tread for driving in the wet. Good tire for everyday driving and track use. Some one that took delivery in this forum accidently had them on his car when he picked it up. They will be my choice when my stockers need replacement.

His dealership also made him sign a waiver of liability in case he crashed in the wet because of those tires. So while there may be worse tires for a rainy day, I would take the fact that these tires can drive in it ok with a grain of salt.
