Sport Display hp/tq measured
I was wondering if anyone knows how sport display measured the hp and tq.
I decided to turn it on today as I just installed my afe intake. I did a 3rd gear pull to near redline and the hp 340ish and tq 360ish. Only mods is JB4 on map 1 and AFE intake. |

This has been beaten to death before. It doesn't measure anything.
The sport displays are a gimmick based on a lookup table populated by dyno results at the factory. The car CANNOT measure torque. Dynos are expensive for a reason. You could tune the car within an inch of it's life and it won't know the difference between stock and tuned esp because jb4 is a piggyback. Use search! |
