Good Driving Roads in LA Area?

I am new to the LA area, I am going to school to Claremont McKenna, and was wondering what good driving roads there are in the area? I have obviously heard about the Snake, but are there any other more low key roads? Thanks!

go to glendora mountain road. It's relatively close to us (I live in La Verne). The mountain is pretty mellow at night and is an absolute blast to drive. Lots of bikers up there during the day.

Angeles national forest. But watch out for cops. And brown bears. Mulholland drive is fun at night
