Coolant sensor 2007 e90 328i

How hard would it be to repair a broken coolant sensor myself? I'm not really looking to pay $100 for a dealership to install a $15 part.

What sensor do you speak of.. Temp switch? Low level sensor?

It's a breeze. It has to tabs that will break when you squeeze them. Use some plyers to pull it out, a bit of coolant will leak out, but you can do the install without draining the coolant if you are quick about it. Have the new sensor at the ready. Pull the old one and immediately plug in the new sensor. Make sure you unplug the old sensor first...
