Weight of options
To the wise out there, how much is the difference in weight between a fully optioned and a base car.
I also wonder about all this 50:50 weight distribution nonsense. Isn't an average 70kg driver skewing the weight distribution anyways?

In wondering the same thing, in particular, the weight of a non-sunroof manual 228i. BMW claims a Curb Weight of 3295lbs for a manual 228i, which if taken at face value is with a full tank of fuel and all fluids, though not clear if that is with a 75kg driver (my guess is not). My guess is that is a weight sans-sunroof, as they likely expect not many people to opt for the premium package. And for all we know probably sans-fluid as well...
As for weight distribution, a driver won't change distribution much front-to-back, as they are more or less centered between the two axles.
