Fix-It Tickets

So I got pulled over earlier today for a "No Front Plate" Fix-It Ticket. First time this has happened in about 3 years and actually the first time I have seen/heard someone get pulled over for it in my area.

Do Fix-It tickets escalate if I get more down the road for the same reason?

I'm planning on putting it on with Zipties to get it signed and then take the plate back off.

If I get pulled over again for the same reason down the road, would it be the same $20-25 fee or can I face additional charges/penalties?

Thanks.

Ive gotten 2 tickets for front plates one in SF and another in SoCal. Both were around the same price. The span between the tickets was several months.

I believe they stay the same. As long as you correct the violation.

+1 As longest you correct the violation, it will be between
20-45, depending on the states that you are at.

No problem! It's because you need the parts to make your car to look beautiful!

Fak I got a fix it ticket on my way home yesterday afternoon. I have European plates in front thats why. The only reason he got me was because at the stop light and he was on the opposite traffic in front of me...

He said it was only a fix it ticket and had to put a CA licence plate in front and have an officer write it off.

Does anyone know if these fix-it tickets show on your record even after written off?

Its not a moving violation so it doesn't affect insurance or anything like that. Pretty sure it stays on record but like I said, has no affect.
