Hard drive for storing music

Is the hard drive for storing music only available with Premium package or Technology package? Looking at the user manual when you play a CD supposedly it's possible to save that CD in the car hard drive, but the icon to copy/save the CD into the hard drive does not show up in my car (I don't have Premium or Technology package).
Thanks.

It's only in tech package with navigation system because it needs hard drive to store map data.

Only thing I've been able to save are about 10 "favorites" from Sirius/XM then it told me the file was full. (w/o tech pkg)
