Break in with mods?

I have been reading the other posts and see that break in is 1200 miles. I understand that and keeping it below 4K RPM's.

My question is, would it be better to break it in STOCK, or can I slap on a JB4 Stage II, ER FMIC, ER Chargepipes, aFe Momentum Intake, ER Catless down pipe, and hopefully GT Haus Meisterschaft? Probably run map 2 or 7.

Any opinions on this?

Give it a chance to get friendly in there. Don't over feed a "date" the first night out.

Bion_ , what kind of power do you expect to get with those mods?

Haha nice. I am probably just going to do the exhaust for now. Appreciate the advice.

I'm hoping to someday hit 400 HP for now. Afterwards I'd like to work with Rob and see about getting an upgraded turbo and methanol in it.

The problem with the break in now is that I wouldn't be able to get a custom tune because of the 4K RPM limit. Wonder if I could still run Map 2 or 7.

You shouldn't push the car to much during break in. Mods exclusively add horsepower.

To me that means run a stock or valet map...

Personally, I say it's ok to put all that stuff on now, breaking in depends on how heavy is your foot.

My thing is, how do you know if there's any gains without driving it to the fullest stock first? I have 5k miles now...I know what it does stock, now i'm working on adding stuff to see how much fast it'll make it.
