Stiffer steering after first service
My car is sep 2013 built (MY14). after my first service today for oil change, the steering definitely felt stiffer on sport mode. Did they do an update on the ECU? I dont see anything on the papers about updating.

I took my car in for a minor recall (drain pipe) 2 month ago, service dept said they updated the software at that time. Steering felt stiffer after the update, but not necessarily better.
It almost feels like artificially induced stiffness. imo the steering feel was perfect before the update. It used to be stiff in sport mode and relaxed in comfort..just the way i like. Now it feels stiff in all modes. |
