My red lady turned one on Saturday and she got a tint for her birthday! It's not super-expensive film, just the SunTek Carbon 38, but the price was very reasonable and it got done while my 1-year oil change and service was being done at the dealership yesterday. Despite 28 years of driving, and 20 years of buying decent cars, this is my first Window tint. Weird, huh?

She may not be an M-Sport 335i, and there are several options I won't go without next time, but I have massively enjoyed my year with her.

Huh, it's right-side up on my PC. Weird. Re-attaching it upside down to see if it shows up right-side up for everyone else.

I posted it from Chrome on my PC at home. Firefox at work shows the same thing I saw at home. Internet Explorer on my work PC turns them upside-down. Weird world...

Nope, but I'm a bad person to ask about that. Driving since 1987 and my ticket avoidance strategies seem to be working pretty well (knock on wood). I had a red Integra GS-R in the 90's and didn't have a problem then, either.

Yeah actually the penultimate ticket I got was in my red Turbo Eclipse back in the 90s.

However, after a very long run of no tickets, got nabbed last August by the CHP in the canyon when I was legally passing a bunch of slow traffic.

Shoot I was only going 90+ mph for cripes sake. How else do you expect to get past before the passing zone ends. LOL

Don't think I had the Melbourne Red E93 since 2013 and so far had pretty good luck with color.

We did do a lot of driving around Portland on the actual day, and she seemed quite pleased to be out in the sun in our city.

Hah, I didn't even notice that ended up in the shot! There are a lot of parts of Portland where it's difficult to NOT end up with a strip club in your picture. The car and I were across the street buying laundry soap at Target, though.

She got her name last Christmas when I ended up taking a long drive to deliver a gift that my coworkers and I bought for one of our guys who was having a rough time.
