I have two questions, one of which seems strange to me:

1. Are there any aftermarket replacements for the boomerang? My car is white and I don't necessarily dig the black boomerang. Is it easy or hard to replace?
2. During the day, the guages in my wife's car are lit up white and are lit up amber at night. During the day, my car isn't lit up at all. Is this normal? I sold my 128 about a year before I got my car so I don't remember how it lit up.

yes there are few vendors that are announced here like IND. (see my PM)

The Gauges in My F36 GC are white during the day, once the lights turn on, the gauges turn amber(orange)

What color combo are you thinking of getting? I can tell you that it's a fun car to drive. I have the 428i but I got to test drive the 435i Coupe and GC and not much difference both cars have lots of power.

I already have the car. I live in Vegas and got the first 428 GC the dealership got.

When you say your gauges are white during the day do you mean white without being lit up? Mine are white/grey I guess but not lit. My wife's 528 is white, but lit up white.

The F3x gauges are not lit during the day, just white text on a black background.

I believe that the dash display on the 5 series is a mix of LED Display
And printed gauges, where the GC has printed gauges in white and at night with the lights on Amber color takes over....
