Tech package, can it be "added"?

My M235i came with no extra packages. Can they be added? Or once the car is made, no option to add any?

I'm interested on the Tech package. Thanks for the help

Yes, it can be done. I've added the professional nav, cruise control, and extended display cluster. Need somebody who is familiar in coding though.

Really?? Great news for me then! Could you kindly share how did you order the package? Online? Local BMW dealer? Please share as much information as you can Scrappy, thanks a LOT!

Sorry, can't help you there. I have very good support from my aftermarket audio workshop who did everything for me. Parts were shipped direct from Germany.

I don't really know the exact price as I have tons of other stuff done. Likely to be circa US$5000 for the 3 items.

Edit: That looks like an MG on your avatar. Coral interior?

Problem is.... when you take your car to BMW for service and there is a software update, the BMW tool will reject the car cause the modules on the car won't match the options specified in the BMW database for that VIN

Yeah. Have to be careful with that. Also need to watch your warranty terms. Works for me coz I don't go to BMW for anything.

I am about to order my car and was wondering whether to go with or without the tech package. Can you please tell me if the torque and HP dials were being displayed for you even without the tech package.
