New S55 60-130 World Record: 8.1s
I thought you guys might find this interesting. Solid results for an M3 running tune only.

I don't understand 60-130 runs all that well. Can you floor it from a dead stop and run it through or should you be moving in gear? It seems like all of that would affect time greatly.

To get in the 6s at 3750# on less than a 1% slope will probably require north of 600whp. Beyond what the factory turbos will deliver. I can see low 7s on a 2.9% slope being possible though. Mike |

Perhaps I can borrow it here sometime soon, if you're willing. I will still be there Saturday! I am sitting at the airport in Arkansas on the way back to San Diego as we speak. What a week.

What! What mods did you have? What WHP were you making? Sub 7 seconds is insanely fast for an M3.... that's McLaren MP4-12C and GT-R level times. You must have been supercharged with other mods...

elevation plays a huge role. On a 2.99 decline I ran a 10.x, same mods I went 12.x on a .01% decline. When comparing 60-130 numbers elevation is the most important variable.

First E92 M3 broke into 5 sec territory last week. Granted it has an SC and built engine. But none the less, that is very quick.
