Hi Guys,

So today, Dad and I pulled into the driveway and someone pulled up outside our house just afterwards. He got out of a very nice black, new Audi S4. Then, he just stood there and said "wow, that is the most beautiful car I've ever seen!"

After talking to him for a while he posed the blunt question, "so how much do you want for it?".

Dad responded "oh it's not about the money for us, it's all about the fun."

This guy kept going, in the nicest way, and said "come on, everyone has their price. How about I trade my car for yours, give you what you paid for it and $10,000 on top of that."

To that dad and I laughed thinking he was joking; he wasn't. He continued and said, "how about $15,000?"

He kept on going up to $25,000 and then finally said after telling us the house he lives in (turns out to be in our neighborhood) "let me know how much and I'll do it."

Can't tell you how many good comments we're getting on the car - looking forward to more being out there!

Absolutely brilliant. It is such a fun thing to own, from both a aesthetic perspective as well as from a driving point of view. Although it doesn't feel like a thoroughbred, it is such a fun driving experience.

The best thing is from around 35 mph in 2nd gear, when you floor it the torque fill is incredible. It climbs to 60+ in literally an instant.I'd be very interested in seeing the figures over these speeds compared to other cars because I really have never experienced something so quick from these speeds - including from the likes of the F430 Scuderia!

I will also hope to do a photoshoot of the i8 alongside the Z8, a proper one, shortly. Hopefully over the coming weekend, may go to Coffee and Cars to do a few snaps.
