18" wheel square setup that will clear CC brakes
Hey -
As the title suggests - does anyone know of a 18" wheel square setup that will clear CC brakes, or at least working on it? I searched around but couldn't find anything specific. Thanks! |

http://f80.bimmerpost.com/forums/sho...d.php?t=945354 The 18"s (640m) don't fit over the carbon brakes, but the 19"s (641m) does. If BMW's own 18"s (in summer or winter version) don't fit over the carbon brakes, it's seems unlikely you'll find any aftermarket ones that will. It also seems like a challenge to find many 18"s that fit over the normal steel brakes too. |

You will save a pretty penny over the CC option, even if you have to replace the rotors in a few years. BMW will replace a set of rotors for free, as they did on my car.

The M3/4 carbon ceramics will not clear 18" wheels, that's why you have to upgrade to 19" wheels when your order the $8,550 option cc brakes with the new car. Adding the cc brakes later from BMW Parts after purchasing the car will cost $20,000, plus new 19" wheels.
