I am sure this info is out there but in the mountain of info i can't find specific info i am looking for.

I want to disable my drl's, i did an led upgrade for my halos and want my halogen running lights off, at least when i turn parking lights on. I drive with my marker lights on almost always and those ugly drl's are running the look of the led's. I know some will say i dony see them so why does it bother me but every time i see the reflection in traffic it bugs me...

Car is sept. 06 build.

It needs to be coded if you have the cable and the software.

Will not be able to code due to early build. You either upgrade the FRM to a FRM2 or you can buy an aftermarket solution.

I know about the options for using the rings as drl's but was wondering if there was an easier way to just turn them off. To be honest i am i little intimidated by the thought of messing with my wiring and upgrading the frm sounds expensive and tricky.

There's not much to upgrading the frm since its OEM. No hacking or splicing of wires needed, you will need to code it after though. I've seen FRM's for sale for Around $200 or more. Gotta to pay to play!

$200 is not too bad actually, depending on what it else it does. i think i will look into this more.

U only can disable drl.but can't coded angel eyes ring as drl.
I did coded drl and amber delete b4.so u still can run angel eyes on when drive
