Weird engine whine between 2-3k RPM
Hi there
I just noticed there's a very odd whine coming from the engine when revving around 2-3 RPM... I'll definitely check with the dealer as well but I wanted to get an opinion from you guys as well.

So no one has any clue about what this might be?
Anyway, I noticed that it doesn't produce this noise when the engine is cold. It's only after it gets to temperature that it does this :|

yes, on second thought, i do notice that ticking (NOT whining like OP described it) in my car from inside the cabin while idling. isn't that normal though?
I usually get this after the engine reaches optimal temperature and i am idling at a stop light and cabin is quite. Again, only inside the cabin, No unusual sounds if stand in the front with hood open like OP showed in the video. |
