Weird engine whine between 2-3k RPM

Hi there

I just noticed there's a very odd whine coming from the engine when revving around 2-3 RPM...

I'll definitely check with the dealer as well but I wanted to get an opinion from you guys as well.

So no one has any clue about what this might be?

Anyway, I noticed that it doesn't produce this noise when the engine is cold.
It's only after it gets to temperature that it does this :|

was thinking the same thing. But this sounds less buzzy...although i've only heard my car do it from inside the cockpit.

yes, on second thought, i do notice that ticking (NOT whining like OP described it) in my car from inside the cabin while idling. isn't that normal though?

I usually get this after the engine reaches optimal temperature and i am idling at a stop light and cabin is quite. Again, only inside the cabin, No unusual sounds if stand in the front with hood open like OP showed in the video.

Nope, not that. The resonance from the AC hose was specific to the N55 engine.
