[HypeM135i]

Made the jump from the M135i to the M235i, both cars manual. I can't tell you how delighted I am with this car, the whole package is phenomenal. A big thank you to James from Remy Roc Detailing who prepared this instead of BMW, which meant I got 8 hours worth of his expertise for a fraction of the price BMW charge for 1 hour with a sponge! As you can see, he did a great job preparing the car.

Happy to write up a m135i vs m235i comparison if anyone is interested? The noise of this thing is unbelievable, and it's weird especially when the stock m235i exhaust is a lot quieter than the m135i. With the M Performance exhaust on this car, it makes a HUGE difference.

Both cars have a lot of noticeable differences. Thanks to James for the photos, lots of them too...

Your car is GORGEOUS! Absolutely love all the carbon fiber.

And I agree with you 100% on the M Performance exhaust - big difference from the stock exhaust! Every time I've revved it, heads turned.

congrats dude. nice car. please post video of exhaust sounds if possible. cold start, drive by, how it sounds from outside and inside etc... Does active sound get automatically turned off if you have the windows rolled down while driving or does it detect windows down and pump in more sound ?? I hope and pray they provide a kill switch for active sound on the M2..

'Cause it's expensive and adds nothing but an aural benefit. You can pay the same amount of money aftermarket, get something that exactly suits your taste aurally and gives you a performance benefit as well.

Yeah...I would go with an aftermarket exhaust. I heard a couple of videos and it seems to be a bit on the softer side and that crackling sound when you back off the throttle sounds weird.
