Trouble after PROcede V3 install (P0108)
I finally pulled the trigger on a tune.
After much reading, i decided to get the Vishnu PROcede V3. The install was a PITA Getting th software to work with Windows 7 was a great challenge. I finally managed to get everything to work (updated the firmware etc) but now im getting a check engine light with the code P0108. Re-checked all the connections and everything is fine. Can you guys help me out ? Last edited by Jeepee; 09-17-2014 at 09:48 AM.. Reason: grammar fault |

Clear codes and also make sure you clear adaptations before taking it on another test drive. Did you leave any piping loose?
Do you have any other mods? Did you make sure you loaded the correct tune? Which map did you run? The software runs fine on every Windows 7 PC I've ever used with a Procede. My newest Windows 8.1 Toshiba works great with it, too. Found another board where a member mentioned they got the same thing but was fixed with a flash update for the DME at the dealer. If you're out of warranty, find a BMW specialty shop that has an Autologic diagnostic tool. They will have access to the latest software from BMW through Autologic.

instead of emailing them, I would call them in the morning. I get the quickest response that way and they are always willing to help me out.
The 11-08 map on the website is really old. I have been running a Beta 7 map since last summer that they sent to me via email - it got rid of all my lights. I found that with windows 7 - you have to turn off all your battery power saving settings. I also had to go to my data cable's manufacture website and download the latest firmware - no issues data logging every since. Once you get it all setup, you'll love the tune. Good luck!

I'm just curious how you could do a bunch of reading on this forum and end up with Vishnu? Seems strange..

Check ur 2 wire connection- the gunk needs to be wipe off completely.
Need to make good contact. Check em again. Wipe off, scrape off with razor blade// or tiny wire brush. Start - If continues reload the map from step 1. And yes slops / no one wants the procede for n55 - what a fail. Once u great the tune going u'll be fine - e85 mix
