Low tire pressure?

Anyone ever had an issue with a low tire pressure warning going off in the dash board??

I've had the tires checked at my local gas station and they said they were perfect.

Figured I would ask before I go to BMW.

TPMS prompts you to reset tyre pressure in system if you have had any work/changes to your tyre. Unfortunately the prompt is the same sign as the tyre warning sign. Could this be issue?

Reset the TPMS system and see if the problem goes away. You must drive the car a few miles before the reset works.

I had mine go off when the dealer washed my car. I reset it and it never went off again.

I got the same issue - the tires are fine, but once in a while I would get a low tire warning. After resetting the TPMS all is well for another couple of weeks.

Yup mine went off. Went home, seemed ok. I did loose about 6-7 psi then filled, drove and blew the tire. I'd check the tires and their pressures closely

I think this is the reason the car comes with ftm in certain markets...

The TPMS sensor will go on with colder weather. I've also had them go off by having a tire sitting in a puddle, and parking on a hill. The easiest thing to do is reset it and if it doesn't come back on you know you don't have a problem.

The reset function sets your current pressure as the normal. If you set a low pressure as normal, you're gonna have a bad day.
