Short Throw Clutch Stop

Anyone have any idea if the BMS or 'original' from eBay happen to fit the F22?

The original eBay one works for the M235i. Installed it a few weeks ago on mine without any issues. Shortened the throw quite a bit.

Another vote of confidence for the eBay original. I didn't care for the idea of the BMS knockoff. Can't go wrong for $10 and supporting the guy with the original design.

I installed and felt no difference. Maybe I never push all the way down anymore. I liked the old school threaded stop of older bmws better.

just ordered today. How long does install take? Any good write ups on it? The one on the Burger site was mildly vague.

Took me about 2 minutes to find where exactly to insert it then another 5 to work out the original one before I could pop in the new one. If you have a small pair of needlenose they'd be perfect fgetting

In case others are looking for the original on ebay, I assume it's this one from pickyeater334?

Just installed it today. Best $10 I ever spent! Makes the clutch feel so much better IMO. This is why I love this forum

Does this help with the clutch slipping to the side?
Also did you use the clutch stop at its default height or remove how many shims??

Yes, it doesn't have that loosey-goosey feel anymore. It feels much more solid and quality than it was stock. After a day with it I can say that it really has improved my shifting, much smoother shifts when the engagement point is predictable.

I didn't remove any of the shims, it seemed to be perfect the way it comes. The clutch fully engages and no issues starting the car. The engagement point feels to be 1-2 inches off full lock.

Just installed the original eBay clutch stop and it makes a huge difference!

To get the old one out, I first tried unscrewing only to realize that there isn't anything to unscrew. Instead, I grabbed the outside edges and just rocked it back and forth until it I was able to pry it out. I know one poster mentioned using needle-nose pliers, but it's hard to find actually see where the pliers would go. I could feel it by hand, but not really see it.

Here is a comparison of the OEM clutch stop and the one from eBay:
