Misfire/Fuel Pump Plausability

Every time I try to go WOT the car goes into limp/sputter mode.
I read codes from my AP COBB and it said cyl 4 misfire, other misfire, fuel pump plausibility. I just had the spark plugs changed and most of the coil packs including cylinder 4 coil pack.

Any ideas why the sputter wont go away?

Tired of getting into good fun racing opportunities then have to put my tail between my legs.

Injectors is another possibility. Try swapping things to different cylinders though. You'll find your culprit if it's injectors or coils or plugs. Nevertheless, give this thread a look:

cyl vs firing order?

Cylinder numbering is from front to rear; 1 at the front and 6 at the rear.
Ignition firing order is 1-5-3-6-2-4.

Is this correct? Cylinders are 1 to 6 front to rear but firing order is different?

I have the code cyl 4 misfire and I changed the coil pack for the firing order so therefor changed the far back coil pack.

Should I have changed the coil pack for the 4th "cylinder" and not the firing order cylinder...oh crap.

That's wrong it's cylinder 4 not firing order # it's 1-6 front to back so the fourth cylinder back is the one you want

Yes change for the 4th cylinder. That's the one you are having issues in.

Be on the look out for injectors soon. It's always good to have a used spare injector. Also download the software here to code. Glad it was a simple coil pack. With mine it was the coil pack then the injector. Probably just bad luck and pure coincidence. just be on d look out for a cheap functioning injector if u can. Never hurts

Ignore "fuel pump plausability", (2AAF). It is almost always there and it doesn't mean anything unless you have driveability issues. There is a TIS out on on it.
