I'm considering this. The one thing I hate about the whole process is the tech inspection. Car is a month old, two months at the time of the event, but needs an inspection. There are only a couple of shops near me and they charge a ridiculous amount just to look at the car. The last one failed my tires because he wanted to sell me new ones, despite them being within tolerances per the next shop.

If you have a vehicle is that new, a tech inspection is not needed. Clearly all components are new and one of the most critical items (fresh brake fluid) is less than 6 months old.

Come on down!

There are several shops in town that will do a tech inspection along with a routine visit. For future events , perhaps contact Autoscope or some of the independent shops. Many will complete an inspection for a nominal fee, for example, typically, if you pay for the cost of the brake fluid to be flushed they will complete a tech form for you.
