M235i - side-by-side - CLA45

Hi all -

Thought I'd post up some fresh pics now that the sun is out in Melbourne -

Went for a cruise with a brother from another mother - some of you may know as the enemy.

All I can say is, both cars are amazing pieces of machinery in their own right and really through all the commentary I've heard abut them comparatively, personal preference is the only thing that definitively sets the two apart.

FYI - I'm not a photographer, so this was a really sketchy attempt at trying to capture some of the longer lines of both cars as they both have similar styling options

I really just wanted to share the beauty, enjoy!

If my dog had a face like the merc's I'd shave his ass and teach him to walk backwards

Nice pics btw

No matter which angle you look at the CLA from, it still looks... Hideous!

haha what should I expect posting a picture inclusive of a Merc in a BMW forum!

I love both cars, I just happen to own the BMW so I love it more - there is a lot to be desired about how Merc options their cars as opposed to BMW both through things that are available and things that are not

Cheers guys! I'm thinking the Kidneys need to be black to round out the look more

Either one, the butts look like a butt, what is it about German cars and just giving up on styling when they get near the naughty bits?

Maybe it is just these two cars and that is not a general trend though?

I prefer the M235i, bc I have one. But I definitely would have considered the Merc if it wielded a 6spd. The 2.0 AMG engine is impressive

Does your car have the M performance rear spoiler? Does it also have the front splitters I can't tell from the pics.

@ den525 Has both Mperf front splitter and rear spoiler, I also painted the diffuser gloss black to match ~ I think it balances the car and makes it stand out but not too drastically, highly recommend

agree , 45 is ugly and the whole car concept is wrong , engine across engine bay not along as proper cars do
