Performance reviews of 435i with M-PPK?
I couldn't find anything on the subject, so perhaps some help from fellow forum members:
- do any performance figures (mainly 0-100 times etc.) exist for the 435i with the M-Performance Power Kit, or any other reviews and opinions on how the rather modest gains the PPK introduces translate to real-life experience?

Second, in another 3d a bimmer wrote that a german magazine (he didn't remember the name) tested a 435i standar, a 435i MPPK and a 435i tuned by AC Scnhitzer. He wrote that on 0-200kmh, while the standard one took 19"3, the MPPK one took 17"3 (16"7 the AC). On 0-100kmh: 5"1 stock, 4"9 MPPK, 4"8 AC. I asked him more detailes and pics of this magazine, but he didn't answer me yet...

Thanks Gio!
I'm currently driving a 528xi - great car, but just not the best fit for me (large and heavy with too weak engine, brakes etc.). I'm going to swap it soon for a 435i or even M235i. Which one would you advise (did you drive the M235i back to back with your 435i to compare first-hand)? I'm tempted by the M235i, but am afraid it would be too much a downgrade from the 5-series in terms of that "inside feeling of quality and comfort" - while the 435i falls right in the middle. Please also tell me what is DHP in your sig - in the 5-series world, it stands for Dynamic Handling Package, but afaik in the 4-series the only choice is passive or adaptive dumpers (EDC) - is that what you mean? Also, a question about MPE; do you think it adds a little bit more performance to the MPPK, or is it just for that sound? If MPE indeed adds a little more hp, I wonder whether the car reviewed by the magazine you mention had it too, or just the MPKK? Molte grazie!

I've got both and I believe it's a good choice for fun driving on normal street. If you want to have several track days, maybe it could bve better the passive dumpers with the optional M Performance set up: stiffer suspensions Anyway, I went to track on april and I enjoyed the global set-up of my 435i (even if I would appreciate stiffer dumpers in Sport mode). MPE now is available in Europe (only for 435i with automatic transmission) in the #340 version (US version) that sounds fine, according to me. I've got the #339 version (340 wasn't available when I bought my car, but nobody knew the difference at the time...), wich is terrible and doesn't worth it I don't know if the care reviewed had MPE too... As I wrote above, I asked to that bimmer more informations but he disappeared. I searched in the web but I didn't find any news about that test...

About the choice between M235i and 435i: the former has a better handling, the latter is a nicer, bigger and more elegant car.
I think that 435i MPPK is a right choice, but with M2354i you have certainly more fun

Thanks again, Gio - I agree with all your points. Since M-Power accessories in the Polish configurator have no pricing info at all, could you tell me how much is the MPKK for 435i in Italy (pre- VAT)? I was also thinking about LSD (for either the 4 or 2-series); I'm definitely giving up on xDrive when swapping my F10 for one of the smaller yet more powerful brothers, so - even though I do not track my cars - I'd certainly feel more confident with RWD + LSD...
