Some M-Performance parts installed ... what next?

I've installed all M-Performance interior trims except for the steering wheel, as well as the rear diffusor...

Here are some pics:

Without rear diffusor:

With rear diffusor:

I think it looks really nice unpainted (thanks to one of the forum members for giving me the idea), so it's going to stay like that...

M-Performance interior trims:

And some shots of the car again...

I'm thinking of getting the spoiler as well, but I don't know if that would blend well :|
Also, I'm thinking on possibly getting the AC Schnitzer tune, but I'm not really convinced it's worth it...

Any thoughts?

Great photos! I don't have an opinion on the AC Schnitzer tune, but your car is gorgeous.

Thanks guys!

I'll probably go for the CF spoiler next and look into the engine tune...

Chose the option S320A which removed them at the factory.

@MCL_F32 Indeed, the diffusor does make for a "big" change as seen from the back

Interior parts needed?

Do you have a list of all the interior parts needed for that upgrade?

I think it's

M-Perf Interior Trim Kit
M-Perf Selector Lever
M-Perf Parking Brake Handle

In searching shopbmwparts.com, I see an
M-Perf Center Console, but I think that might come as part of the Interior Trim Kit?

In searching getbmwparts.com, I see a
M-Perf Gear Selector Trim
which I didn't find on the previous website?

Making up my wish list for my upcoming F32 order, would really like to replicate the look you achieved. Thanks!

Thanks

Thanks,

Shopbmwusa has a different part number for the parking brake and calls the gearshift trim a center console cover, hence my confusion.

Thanks for the part numbers. Very helpful to confirm what I want.

Looks very nice. Interior wise I want the same CF bits, but with Oyster white. Should be a nice sharp contrast I think.

How difficult was the installation on the gear shift and surround trim. I have trim removal tools but have been hesitant to mess with it just yet. Car is 2 weeks old. Is the trim surround clipped or taped?

Looks fantastic. If you could elaborate on how you installed the gear shifter cf cover and its bottom suede type surrounding cover, id appreciate it.

Everything was clipped except for the small plastic cover (with the D/S, etc) on top of the gear shifter, which was taped.

It's an easy operation to replace everything - I removed the trims with an old plastic card.

Thanks!

The gear shifter CF kit that you get looks like this:

In order to replace the old cover, you need to remove the old plastic display (the P/N/R/D thingy).
Once you remove that, there's a screw holding the cover in place.
Remove that screw and the cover will come out.
Replace the P button, new CF cover, screw it back and tape off the new plastic display with the M on it.

The bottom suede is really easy to replace (it's clipped into place)

You just need to pry it out and replace it with the new one. No need to remove anything on the gear shifter.

For me, the only "tricky parts" to install were the CF trims on the door handles and the new hand brake cover.

AFAIK there's no LSD for xDrive...
Unfortunately there's no MPPK for the 435d either
I guess, they felt it might overshadow the 435i, since there is a MPPK for the 430d :|

My only options are going to other tuners.
I've got my sights on Hartge or AC Schnitzer.
Both are pretty expensive, but they promise an increase to around 360HP.

I'm tempted to go on the AC Schnitzer route, because the torque increase is just to 690Nm (given that the max rating for the ZF8 is 700Nm), compared to 730Nm for Hartge.

If you can also perhaps send me a link where to purchase the gear lever and the surrounding bottom cover, id super appreciate it.
