N55 catless exhaust with resonators
Decided to post a quick video of the sound, since i was looking around for some videos of a similar setup before i did it and couldn't find one. Love the sound, it is extremely quiet when inside the car. zero rasp. I would like to hear the turbos a bit more though, so maybe a PE mod is coming soon.
It is a n55 with vrsf down pipe, two vibrant resonators, and the golf tee mod (or whatever its called). |

Mine was rwd. Forward of the frame brace, there's a gap where I had the exhaust shop cut and weld two bottle type vibrant resonators in. I think they're vibrant 1792's.

I think it's generally accepted that DP with stock exhaust sounds good.
The rasp/drone problem is mostly on DP + PE or other aftermarket exhaust. I went from stock to PE to DP+PE and then back to PE because of the rasp/drone. Didn't want to mess with resonators. |

Eliminated pretty much all the rasp. Quieted it down and less drone too but sounds sweet in sport mode with the Alpina flash. Still got a little drone when going up slope still, nothing major.
