Breyton GTS-R wheels (Matte Gray on Mineral Gray)
Been looking for some wheels for a little while now and finally found something that spoke to me. I wanted something that looked "spidery" and when I saw these I knew they were it.
Breyton GTS-R 18x7.5 ET45 front and 18x8.5 ET48 rear. 12mm spacer on the front, none on the back.

Looks awesome! I'd do the same color/finish from your stock wheels to the new wheels. Not now, but maybe when you scratch one of them? Would look FANTASTIC!

I don't believe there is a 19" version available, at least not in the US. Tire Rack is the only seller and they only have 18s, which are on close-out and they will not be getting any more.

Wait, scratch that, there are 19s available from Tire Rack, they just aren't listed for the 2 Series (have to search for a 328i for them to come up) because they won't fit without some mod (like spacers), which was also the case for the 18s. They weren't even listed for the M235i, I had to put in that I have a 228i because the front wheels will not clear the brake calipers without at least a 5mm spacer and Tire Rack only shows you wheels for your car that fit directly.
Having said that, I did get a PDF from Breyton a few days ago about fitment and they do not show 19" versions of the GTS-R, only the GTP and other others. Tire Rack does sell the GTP but it's kind of an odd looking wheel with the studs all around. They are also much heavier. Looking at the GTS-R and their offsets in the 19" size, it doesn't look like they would work and it's a shame because they are like 50% off! The front wheels are 19x8.5 ET30 which means they would poke 27.7mm out more than stock. The rears are 19x9.5 ET35 so that's 36mm more poke than stock.

Unf this thing's looking sexy now, I look at it, and I all I see is baby M3. Is it weird to sit there and stare at your car in the garage?

I am SO very happy to read that these wheels fit the M235i. I just picked mine up last week, and was dreading having to sell the wheels (since they appear to be only for the 1er). Making my order for the lug bolts and spacers now! Thanks guys!

Just wanted to thank the original poster for sharing this info. I had a set of Breyton GTS-R wheels from my 135, so I ordered a set of 12mm spacers as soon as my M235 went into production in December. Finally put the Breyton's on last week and of course it snowed. But I'm still VERY happy with the results.
These wheels are still on clearance on Tirerack for $129 each and I'm thinking about picking up another set for my winter tires instead of the stock rims. |

Hey HX_Guy, I am also in the Phoenix area. Would love to see these wheels in person. Would you be willing to meet up sometime? Where did you get yours? I can't seem to find them for sale anymore.

Very nice wheels. Great choice.
The Long Spokes make the wheel look bigger than it actually is - almost look like a 19inch in some of those close up pics. Nice catch |
