Logic Motorsports prototype High Velocity Intake Dyno results!!

Ladies and Gentlemen,

I am very pleased to share some interesting results with everyone . Due to the prototype status, I am currently unable to release pics. But, I was given the approval to post up the Dyno comparison of the Logic cold air intake system and the Bmc drop in filter for the BMW 335. Once our beta testing is complete. I will post an official announcement with Detailed Pics, Pricing, and Diy installation. Don't worry guys, this will be worth your while. We have been working countless hours developing an intake that can achieve excellent gains and remain aesthetically pleasing. Our chief engineer set out to design a free flowing intake with low restriction and still maintain excellent filtration. We have seen drop in air filters pickup 6-10whp over stock. The Logic HVI does that and then some!! The results speak for itself... Acceleration is improved, as well as an increase in throttle response, and the sound is amazing!! You can hear the turbos sucking in the cool dense air!!! We want to give a big thanks to Jon Martin for letting us use his car for testing purposes!!

Vehicle Specs: 2007 BMW 335 6mt.

Fuel Type: 91 octane.

Ambient Temp: 65 degrees Fahrenheit.

Performance Mods: vishnu v2, bmc air filter, fmic, cat back exhaust.

All runs were made on the same day and same weather conditions.

We did 5 runs with proper air flow and cool down period for each intake. No other changes were made.

@ 5800 rpm we noticed a gain of 8whp over the BMC drop in air filter

I will post more information as it becomes available. Thank You for looking.

Best Regards,
Steve

You guys I was there and had my car treated like it was made of gold! The guys at Logic are truly professional. I've never had the pleasure of dealing with Honest folks like this before. My car was on the dyno for the last few hours trying every situation we could think of and I killed little over a half tank but it was worth it. Bottome line Ladies and gents this intake is going to be awesome I can't wait till everyone can rock it once the Production piece is finalised. There are no Dyno tricks going on here folks, It's all legit no hidden secrets I was involved in the whole process and saw everything that was done so these are all legit dynos with equal cool down time and similar temps. All the runs were done on Cali Shell 91octane on my 335 with 40,000 miles on the clock. If you folks ever need anything I would recommend these guys no joke.

The results above aren't even the best numbers of the day and they were made On the lowest reading dyno I've seen in Cali PERIOD!. Everyone knows by now that the BMC Airfilter is good for at least 6-10whp vs stock and obviously thats because it's a Better flowing drop in over stock so on top of matching the BMC the Logic CAIntake beat it especially in the higher RPMs. And the sound is awesome, You can really here the turbos spooling it's very nice!! (yawn) I'll add more details later and answer questions but for now I'm gonna crash.

So you are saying 17 rwhp more than the BMC drop in filter? If so, that is solid.

I hope the price will be reasonable as I've seen some crazy prices for similar products lately.

Does it utilize the stock airbox (with either the oem stock air filter, BMC, or other aftermarket filter)? And, how difficult or easy is the install...do you have to take off the front bumper or is it a relatively easy DIY install process?

Nice gain, especially in the rev range where it is needed on the 335i.

With same setup, what power do you get with stock airbox, cover off and no filter? Why does torque and hp not cross at 5252?

Is this another Procede marketing strategy where you announce the product to keep people's panties on then you release it like a year later? The gains look great, and i hope you guys release it soon because i am looking for an intake...

However i wish more tuners/engineers would be like Ultimate Racing...

They don't say anything, one day just pop up...here's our product, reviews, pictures, here's the dyno, here's the price, we got it in stock....bam, place the order, get it 3 days later...

Wouldn't that be refreshing...no more beta testing, no 6-month GB; just an announcement, order, and receive product within 3 days!!!!
