Arrow Strasse Sport_Thread Repairs

Ivan does spark plug thread repairs for those that are interested. Get it done right from a pro!

He uses TIME-SERT and unlike Helicoil, it won't blow out or screw out when you take out your spark plug.

This is really great to know!

Had a spark plug blow out on a V8 F150, took it to the dealer paid like 500 bucks for them to put a heli-coil even when I took them a paper from Ford that specified to specifically use a time-sert.

Blew back out 6 months later, ended up sourcing a used engine for cheap and went in that direction.

Ah man that sucks.

Yeah, I hear a lot of negative things about Helicoil as far as repairs for spark plugs. Everything else seems fine, but specifically for spark plugs, TIME SERT is really the way to go.
