So long story short.

I called every Dinan dealer within the area of Phoenix and when answering the phone asking to talk to their Dinan rep they say we are no longer associated with them or they say sure!...... Then when asking about when they will have the dinan ECU reflash and exhaust they quickly state O...... we dont do that sorry.

So I am a little concerned about whats going on with Dinan and Arizona any thoughts? Seems like dealerships here are refusing to except dinan 335i parts but not other models!!?!?!?

So you are saying they will do other BMW models using Dinan parts but won't do any Dinan mods on the 335?

Use to live in AZ, I know I had similar issues when asking about the Dinan reflash. Wasn't going to get it yet, since my car dosen't come in for another 2 weeks, but they weren't very helpful with the information or pointing me to someone who would be able to do the refalsh....

Yes, they will mod any other model EXCEPT the 335i

Talk to Dinan directly and have them confirm what dealer in AZ supports their products. I doubt a Dinan official BMW dealer/distribuitor wouldn't want to do the job.

You called Dinan twice? just get you a JB2H or someting like that. It would be the best $349 you could spend. Screw Dinan, why do you want to spend $2000 on a average performance gain mod? because of the warranty?

"I just spoke with Matt in service (480-949-7600) at Chapman on McDowell Road and he said they currently are a Dinan dealer and just did a 335i software load yesterday.

Wonder who you spoke to.

I live in SW Colorado and as soon as I can get my E90 out to the highway (spring?) I am off to Chapman for the tune.

Call back - ask for Matt.
Call Bits (my favorite salesguy/racer) at Chapman, he will take care of you.
His cell number is 602-670-4786), tell him Doug Hoover said to call.

Chapman has been very good to me, esp' when I was racing with the BMW Club."


Did you go to the Dinan web page an lookup the dealers in Arizona? It lists the contact person at each dealership and their phone number. This is the person you should contact.

The reason i dont want to do any mods with both Chapman dealers is because they told me they are not renewing their contract next month with Dinan. So if something went wrong i would be in big trouble because there would be no dealer
