Oil leak in engine bay???

I m new to this so still getting used to it so please take it easy
There has been a oil leak in engine area, got that checked and the guy told me it's a rocker cover gasket so I got that done last week. I was driving the car today and saw white smoke coming out from under the bonnet, when opened I saw it's coming from somewhere near exhaust manifold as fresh oil must be dripping on that. Any ideas what it could be as clearly is not the rocker cover car is automatic with 53k miles on clock. Please help!!

Your mechanic installed the rocker cover (also called a Valve Cover) gasket improperly; it's leaking again and worse than originally.

an inspection with a flashlight should tell you where it's leaking, especially so with a clean engine after a major procedure.

Thanks for reply guys, got the car on ramp today and I could see the under tray is full of fresh oil, more in a transmission fluid box area and further top. I tried to upload pics but there is something funny with a size of pics.

Start your inspection from the top. Any oil leaking from the valve cover gasket, or the oil filter housing will manifest as spots on the bottom of the engine and could lead to false diagnostic.

Oil pan gasket and rear main seal are annoying (and expensive) to replace, so you really want to rule out one of the cheaper top engine gasket as the culprit before going there.
