Square Setup

For next season's track days, I would love a 17" all square setup. Probably 245/40/17's on all four corners. Ideally, all four rims would have the same offset so I can rotate them front and back, but is this possible? If not, I would prefer to have a proper offset on each front and rear pairs of rims instead of using spacers.

Can you guys give me some specs of your setup if you run an all-square setup?

TIA.

I'm running pretty much what you listed 245/40/17 all around. They are Kosei K1 Racing 17x8.5 ET38 with Bridgestone RE-01Rs on them.

I think those are pretty much the same wheel specs as my SSR GT7's. The rears look way too tucked in though... how does yours look?

The 18" figure has no bearing to how far it's pushed out toward the wheel well methinks. Wouldn't a 18x8.5 with the same offset as a 17x8.5 be the same distance toward the wheel well?

Well, I have an E46 and they sit flush with no spacers.

I think Rota Torques might be a possibility - but they come in 18's only.

+30 offset...

What about BBS rims in 8.5 with 35 offset? According to the calculator, that would result in a wider track up front than stock and each rear would retract 2mm from the fender and 2mm closer to the strut.

The wheels are SSR CS-Rs from Tirerack.

Can you fit 4 of those in the car BTW?

Easy..I have the tirerace tire totes..and the tires line up in the rear seat..side by side...with extra room. No problem whatsoever. I put my jack, tools, helmet, cooler, and suitcase in the trunk. All the other stuff is in the back seat. I can take one other passenger in the front.

17" Kosei K1's w/ 240/40-17 Kook Z212's
Not the best looking set up but super light and inexpensive.

Keep in mind a BBK will not fit 17's
