It has been a week and half and NO ONE has a dyno of the Dinan ECU upgrade

Figured someone would have actually wanted to see what their $2000 bought them dyno-wise....guess not yet

Why? They must be pleased with it. Even if they were not, they would not be able to sell it. So there is no reason to see the trouble. Just feel the Dinan power and don't worry about it. Easy as its install.

Maybe the flash owners doesn't care. I won't care when I get it.

Seems to be only a percentage of E90'ers that care.

After the dyno prob most will b*tch about how a rip off it is if its low or how its still too much $$$ if it is a good dyno number.

The more things change the more it stays the same

I for one like to see dynos, not to scoff at but for reference of potential future investments. I think some of us forget that this is a "community" forum..

If there is no "pre" change dyno then the "post" change dyno cannot carry much merit. There is no point of reference.

With dyno error how can you say any absolute number is correct.

I love the arguement that for some reason Dinan Owners don't care what power they make... I think that is because Dinan historically has made low power modified cars. The thing is, I think it's gonna be a great dyno #, I estimate:

335hp and 365tq

Yeah, but with the turbo car they can certainly do a better job of making power.

I guess the next question will be, if this a "good" tune, how much is still left in the tank.

It does when the vendor has baslines on file. He has done 10 335i so far which are mostly stock and Procede.

That dyno is the one that Shiv used to do dyno day last November if I remember correctly, so even temperature will be pretty similar.

Nope. We've never used a Dynojet up there. But they should all ready in the same ball park assuming no wacky calibrations. Temps (cold!) and octane (94oct) will help numbers a bit though.
