V2 Half engine light

Just installed V2 and went out for a test drive all was good till the top of 3rd then i got engine malfunction reduced power. shut the car off, turned it back on and went again this time the light came on at the top of 4th.(near redline both times) Does anyone have any idea whats going on?

just read something saying my boost gauge might be the problem. i have to take it out tomorrow anyway, so i will see if that fixes it.

Shiv is almost done with a fix. The problem is limp mode, mostly auto trans, when shifting from 3rd to 4th gear at 6700 rpm. I just tested new firmware and a new map that did not give me limp mode.

Can also happen with MT but not as common.

When can we expect the fix? Of course not as common with a MT but it happens to me!

Email Shivs with your name number and email address and I think he will send you a map that they are working on to eliminate this! Now go get some rest!!!

And you've been very helpful in giving us the info needed to get to the bottom of it

And to anyone else throwing a limp mode, email me at shiv@vishnutuning.com so I can email an updated map to you. Please provided the requested feedback (as per the email) so I can quickly 'sign off' on the map and put it online for everyone else to use. Wanna get started on v2.0.3 but we gotta put this issue to bed first!
