6 cylinder diesel - oil level
Just checked my dipstick to find that the oil level was just below minimum!
I was under the impression these cars have electronic level sensors! Is this not the case?! Last edited by Marshall878; 08-22-2014 at 02:04 AM.. |

Has it got CIC?if so check in iDrive service settings and it should be there. Its a minefield trying to tell if a car has it as they're are variations on engines etc.

If no indication via iDrive or through the Kombi then it doesn't have the visual
Level alert function. You will get a warning when the pressure is low...but by that time it's not a good thing! |

I just find it extremely strange they dont have some sort of electronic level sensor and warning....
Even my 2002 106 checked the oil level on start up! Not impressed. But alas, my fault for not checking. Best keep an eye on it from now on just incase shes drinking! |
