e92/e90 bodywork interchangeability ?
hey everybody I was wanting to know if you can use e92 front and rear end body work on an e90 ? I don't see it being done but body lines look similar .
thanks Last edited by AFRIEND435; 08-15-2014 at 03:32 PM.. |

Do you mean the front and rear bumpers? If so, then no it will not work. I do not believe any body work is the same. Not even the grilles.

yeah that's what I was wondering . when looking at the m-sport and m bumpers I like the smoother lines of the e92 rear bumpers . it seems like the distance between the rear wheel well and the taillight might be longer ?

The E92 coupe is wider and lower than the E90 sedan. No I only sell wheels and tires

a lot, bumper, fenders, hood, grills, headlights, under shield , fender liners, the fenders will need custom work tho, on the coupe it attaches differently at the bottom then on the sedan, and i believe the length is kinda different.
If you search you can find a conversion thread, and the guy was actually selling the whole conversion later. |

Why is it impossible? The rear end was actually easier than the front. The shape of the rear and width is similar to each other.
I took this kit and made this kit

My wheel setup is 19x9+10 19x11+20, I actually want to get new wheels with a less aggressive setup and will probably sell my current wheels soon. My car is finished, but I have not taken pics of it. You can probably find pics from wekfestSJ. My friend owns a bodyshop where I take my car and work on it myself, it actually takes a lot of work to mold and refinish everything. I did most of the work on my own except for when it came to reshaping and painting.

Nope, no bags at all. So if any of my lines were to fail (none have) my car would still be fully functional on my coilovers whereas if UAS (bags on coils) or any other bag system were to fail, my car would be stranded and laying on the frame of my car on the ground (happened to my friend, pain in the ass to tow)
