that is another setback.. you will gain hp with the new mods, but not more like you should with a custom map/tune.

I would think though, if this reflash gets huge.. lets say people dyno 275 stock and show gains on the dyno of like 340 whp or something obsurd, and many people get it.. then maybe they will reflash your ecu with your mods for like $300 or something for every reflash, or $500.

Dinan will probably void your warranty too.

That's the problem with the Dinan flash.
Getting it voids the BMW warranty and Dinan then covers it.
But you add another significant mod (like DP's) and Dinan then too will void your warranty.
Dinan could potentially void your warranty with an intake too.

Could you run a Dinan and a SSTT?? Just take out the TT when you go in for service. Would you be able to feel the benefit of both of them??

Obviously, not the whole warranty. DINAN would step in for claims resulting from the ECU reflash only. BMW is still on the hook for all other work. More or less, they complement each other.

You can not add any performance parts to your engine unless they are from BMW or Dinan. It is the easiest way for Dinan to get out of a warranty issue.

Basically what it comes down to, if you spend extra for the Dinan flash and there powertrain warranty that they cover because BMW voids your powertrain warranty from the flash...you have to be happy with just that and get zero other performance mods, or Dinan will use that other mod as their excuse but legal excuse to NOT cover your car's powertrain warranty.
