M4 vs Challenger Hellcat

thoughts? price points make for a decent comparison 59k vs 64k coupe to coupe. 707 hp hellcat to 400 m4. I cant imagine the hellcat being better on a track, but curious to hear your thoughts.

707hp is impressive, but from looks alone, I vomit in my mouth every time I see the Hellcat. Fugly car IMO.

The mark up on the hellcat is going to be insane. I would be surprised if you get one close to msrp. It is a nasty car!!! If you get it, keep it forever!!

Yeah it won't be available with less than a $10k markup. 707hp is insane though.

I would say in "spirit" the Challenger is probably better cross-shopped against an M6 than an M4. That sounds ridiculous but both cars are large, heavy, comfortable and extremely fast cross country cruisers that won't be at home on a road course.

What gets me excited is the Charger Hellcat.... That thing is gonna go M5 hunting for $40K less...

I would take an M4 over it in a heartbeat. Better interior, better build-quality, better chassis and miles better looking.

BUT, that 6.2 v8 is not to be taken lightly. The noise is just insane.

Tell that to a C7 vette as it's lapping you . A lot of crappy American cars out their but that generalization is stupid . And 700 stock , warrantied horsepower is freaking awesome , kudos to Dodge just for that . It's a 10 second drag car , bone stock with tires for 60k . That's crazy value for what it is .

Umm no two totally different cars . The M6 has a luxury interior, a state of the art DCT and can actually turn too but you pay for it . The hellcat is made for one thing and it will do that extremely well at a great bargain .

yea i agree.. unless its a tight auto-x, i think this car may hang around any M car. even if it gets behind on braking n corner entry, it has so much power for the straights..

Over 700hp is very impressive, I'm sure this car is an animal in a straight line.
However- if I drove this car here in Europe I would be laughed at irrespective of how fast it is. This car only works in the States, it looks awful and the name...........Hellcat, come on, really? Firedog, Turbolizard..............

It's amazing the amount of people so fucking HP happy regardless of the ugly ass car it may be in!!! C7 is ugly, you like it and it can lap the M3? Great go effing enjoy it, hell cat had 12 million HP and goes to moon and back in 10 seconds? While I can agree with you that the Hellcat is not attractive.... TO ME. It very well may be to others. There are plenty of people out there that think BMW's look like ass.

If you think the C7 is ugly....it may be time for an appt to see the Optometrist.

Not all people that drive these cars are drunk on their own Kool-Aid like you are with your precious BMW. .....Psssst BMW's are like fucking Toyotas throughout this country. You really think people see a BMW these days and say "Damn....he/she is driving a BMW" People that drive other cars couldn't give a rats ass about what you drive.
