Eibach Springs

Does anyone have any insight as to when we might see Eibach release an application for the M3/M4? If history proves anything, I believe they will release a spring that lowers the rear less than the front and provides a drop that will likely be more moderate than H&R.

I called Eibach last week and spoke to a guy that couldn't provide any real guidance on what we might see and when we might see it. He did say they didn't have a test car in the US but that they might be being developed in Germany.

I believe Eibach is providing the OEM springs (saw that somewhere) for BMW on the M3/M4 so this should provide a great leg up for Eibach and allow them to have a nice shorter spring that is truly engineered for the car. That is what I am hoping anyway.

I am leasing my M3 this time so I want a drop that is not too expensive, and is easily reversible. Plus with the adaptive suspension I am trying to avoid throwing all that out for coilovers this time.

We're working on getting a car in for development right now. We'll have to spec out the factory springs, shocks and sway bars and from there we'll get prototypes into development. Unfortunately, we may not see an actual release for at least two months as mentioned above.

We have Donald's (TMR) M3 at Eibach now so we can spec out the factory shocks, springs and sway bars. Eibach Germany just finished their development of the Pro-Kit for the European spec M3/M4 this week. We will have a few kits air shipped over for test fitment ASAP to see if they'll work and determine if we want to make any changes on our end.

Will you be able to share springs rates?

OEM vs Lowering Springs?

Yes, my car has the adaptive suspension. Car rides awesome. The amount it is lowered is just right, not slammed, but its lowered. II went by EAS and put some wheel spacers on it. Car looks really good. I'll take more pics in the morning.
