I live in a fairly, um, low-rent section of town and am looking for a 24/7 monitoring solution for my car. I currently have a camera set up from my apartment looking down on my car, but I also want at least one, perhaps two (front windscreen facing and cabin facing) cameras that can record for 24 hours straight. Seems like an easy enough solution but I haven't found anything that can record for that length of time. I'm pretty savvy when it comes to hard wiring them in.

Thanks for any help you can provide. I've already had my car vandalized once, and I've had my Xterra broken in to twice, in the last six months.

I know they have ones that record on event (basically continuous recording that saves x seconds before/after motion or shock detected)
