is it just me or is something wrong?
I went to the track last night, it is a 1/8 mile track in the parking lot of qualcomm statium in San Diego. my car is a 2012 E92 6 speed with a JB4 map 5 with boost going up to around 17 psi, bms intake, catless dp and i was running 15% E85 tank was less than a 1/4 full also. i was racing my buddies 2000 trans am that only has exhaust and intake and it was a toss up on who would win. his best time was 9.05 at 84 mph and mine was 9.1 at 82 with a 2.4 0-60 which i know is horrible but traction there is not the best. where my question comes in is shouldnt i be making it into the high 8's at least easily? i am pretty confident in my driving i had a 2006 gto with intake exhaust and tune and could run low 13's and high 12's all night long. i have no engine codes or anything so as far as i know i have no boost leaks. its just kinda depressing not being able to get into the 8's with all that has been done to the car. oh and also i was shifting at 5.8k rpms cause after that the turbo falls on its face. thanks for any help or suggestions!

Yep. Something is wrong there. My best time, bone stock - including runflats, is 8.76. I'm pretty near to 900' above sea level.

I'm pretty sure you should shift a little higher than that. I think that BMS actually uses 6500 in 1st, 6400 in 2nd and 6300 in 3rd and on, or something very similar to that.
Also, guessing you don't have flex fuel wires since you didn't mention them. But you should get them and run more E85. |

It's hard to tell you anything if we cannot see your logs.

i knew something wasnt quite right! 8.76 sounds exactly where you should be with a stock 335i and a good driver. with the mods my car has you would think even with the worst driver it would be an easy high 8 second car and a good driver low 8's. i didnt run any logs due to the fact that iam not sure where i put my cable. i am gonna have to make it my mission to find it then run some logs cause something isnt right and i dont wanna continue embarrassing my 335i at the track when it deserves better than that!

I'd be willing to bet, with "all" the mods, and the right rubber on the ground, high 7's. I'm wondering if anyone's tried these, and how they worked out:
